For Thanksgiving this year we headed up to Logan to stay with my dad!! We love Logan and it is always so much fun to go back. This year for Thanksgiving we had a small group. There was my dad, my step-mom Traci, Kelsi, Chris, Michael, A.J. and us!!
My dad and Traci did a wonderful job. They made a special turkey. It was so full of flavor!! I loved it. I think it was the best turkey I have ever had. We also had all the other fixin's!! Dinner was so yummy!! And of course we had lots of pumpkin pies!!
We had fun playing board games and watching movies. It is always fun just hanging out and talking. My girls love playing with their uncles too!!
Unfortunately Avery is scared to death of animals, especially dogs. My dad has a dog named Charlie. As you can see I did not get many pictures. Due to the fact that between having a baby that can't sit up, a husband that can't use his arm and a 2 year old that won't let me put her down on the ground because there is a dog, I was too busy to take a picture!! But even with the minor set backs, we had a great time. The food and the company were great. Thanks dad for a great Thanksgiving. And thanks so much for buying all the kid movies!!!
We ended up heading for home on Friday afternoon. Once we got home the girls were so excited about putting up their tree. We have 2 trees for Christmas. The one in the basement is for the kids stuff and they get to decorate it all by themselves (after I help with the lights). We finished this tree on Friday night. It was fun to decorate.
And Avery found a decoration that she fell in love with.... Dora!!
As this Thanksgiving weekend comes to a close I like to reflect on all the many things I am grateful for. My family. I have a great husband and wonderful children who love me despite all my weaknesses. I have great parents and step-parents who have taught me so much and are great examples and friends. Thanks for putting up with me for so long!! I also have a great extended family. They are always there for me and I love hanging out with all of them. I also have the best friends. Thanks for always looking our for me and for caring about my welfare. I could not get through life without your support, your shoulders, and your listening ears. I also LOVE where we live. It truly is a wonderful, caring, and giving neighborhood. Everyone here is also really fun and that makes it a fun place to live!! I have many other things that I am so grateful for but I could go on for ever. I will just say that I know that I am blessed and as the Christmas season begins I have a prayer that I can remember it's true meaning. I hope to take the time to enjoy my many blessings and the people in my life. I hope to reflect on the true meaning and make Christ the center of my life. I hope we can all find the peace we are looking for!! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Let Christmas begin!!

Andria, you are so wonderful to everyone! I am glad you had a great Thanksgiving, I almost changed my background to the same one as yours today! I decided on a different one, and when I just saw yours I laughed! That would have been so funny!
Looks like a great weekend! Thanksgiving is so much fun to get together and just be together. Love the trees. We started putting up ours this weekend. I just LOVE this time of year!!!
Hey you! Sounds like Avery and I are in the same boat when it comes to animals. I only wish someone would carrying me whenever there was a dog around. Love the tree for the kids, great idea. We put up our tree too, it is so exciting! Just 19 days until we leave and even less for you. Good luck with packing.
I like the idea of a "kid tree" in the basement. They really love helping but all the ornaments end up on one branch! Maybe I should try that next year. You sure have a cute family!
BULL!!! I wrote a comment on this yesterday, I should have been below Mackenzie....where did it go? Anyways, I'm super sad I missed you guys on your one(and probably only) Thanksgiving in Logan. I just love my nieces so much Andria(thanks for producing great girls!) I'm so grateful that they are so well behaved and sweet. Nothing is better than a hug from any one of those girls! I can't wait for Christmas...I'm ready for a little Boston Family Love!
Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving. I love finishing off Thanksgiving and starting Christmas right after:) We do live in a great neighborhood!
