Conference Weekend!!

So much for catching up. I am going to start blogging again from this point and try to catch up as I can!!
During conference weekend Joe surprised us with a weekend up at Sundance in a cozy little cottage.


It was such a magical place. We loved spending our time there. The outside was a beautiful area full of wonderful things. It has a birdhouse (an outdoor house),




a bridge,



a waterfall,


a hot tub,


and many other things that are indescribable. The signs of Autumn were all around us. There were beautiful leaves, a crisp chill in the air, and a cozy feeling in our cottage.





Our children were able to enjoy simple things like reading books, playing board games, going on walks, enjoying nature, sitting by the fire, listening to the water, and just doing nothing and relaxing. We were also able to watch conference. The feelings we had during conference were amazing.










I truly love spending time with my family. I could have stayed there forever. I think it was almost as close to Heaven as I can imagine. We were all snuggled together with nothing to do but spend time with each other. We laughed, we talked, we cooked, we listened to music, we read, we relaxed, we just got to to know each other a little better. I am so glad we had such a magical weekend!!
