For Thanksgiving this year we headed up to Logan to stay with my dad!! We love Logan and it is always so much fun to go back. This year for Thanksgiving we had a small group. There was my dad, my step-mom Traci, Kelsi, Chris, Michael, A.J. and us!!
My dad and Traci did a wonderful job. They made a special turkey. It was so full of flavor!! I loved it. I think it was the best turkey I have ever had. We also had all the other fixin's!! Dinner was so yummy!! And of course we had lots of pumpkin pies!!
We had fun playing board games and watching movies. It is always fun just hanging out and talking. My girls love playing with their uncles too!!
Unfortunately Avery is scared to death of animals, especially dogs. My dad has a dog named Charlie. As you can see I did not get many pictures. Due to the fact that between having a baby that can't sit up, a husband that can't use his arm and a 2 year old that won't let me put her down on the ground because there is a dog, I was too busy to take a picture!! But even with the minor set backs, we had a great time. The food and the company were great. Thanks dad for a great Thanksgiving. And thanks so much for buying all the kid movies!!!
We ended up heading for home on Friday afternoon. Once we got home the girls were so excited about putting up their tree. We have 2 trees for Christmas. The one in the basement is for the kids stuff and they get to decorate it all by themselves (after I help with the lights). We finished this tree on Friday night. It was fun to decorate.
And Avery found a decoration that she fell in love with.... Dora!!
As this Thanksgiving weekend comes to a close I like to reflect on all the many things I am grateful for. My family. I have a great husband and wonderful children who love me despite all my weaknesses. I have great parents and step-parents who have taught me so much and are great examples and friends. Thanks for putting up with me for so long!! I also have a great extended family. They are always there for me and I love hanging out with all of them. I also have the best friends. Thanks for always looking our for me and for caring about my welfare. I could not get through life without your support, your shoulders, and your listening ears. I also LOVE where we live. It truly is a wonderful, caring, and giving neighborhood. Everyone here is also really fun and that makes it a fun place to live!! I have many other things that I am so grateful for but I could go on for ever. I will just say that I know that I am blessed and as the Christmas season begins I have a prayer that I can remember it's true meaning. I hope to take the time to enjoy my many blessings and the people in my life. I hope to reflect on the true meaning and make Christ the center of my life. I hope we can all find the peace we are looking for!! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Let Christmas begin!!

AUDREY!!
My little Audrey has her first tooth!! She had been sick then she was really grouchy for a few nights and honestly I was at my wits end!! Then one morning I was getting ready to give her medicine and I felt a tooth!! It really explained a lot!!
Now that her tooth has come in she has been so much happier. She has even slept through the night the last 2 nights. I am sure it won't last but I will take it!! Here is my sweet baby. I love her so much!!!
Audrey is now 6 months old and she keeps us smiling!!

Twilight at Midnight
What were we thinking?....................... Edward!!
There are not many things that will keep me up past midnight but Twilight is one of them!! It all started weeks ago when we decided to go to the midnight showing of Twilight. We first had to ask around and see who was crazy enough to go along with this idea. At the end of the day I bought 37 tickets to the midnight show!!
After weeks of waiting the night finally arrived!! We met at my house at 7:45 pm. We didn't have our entire group because some of them had to come late.
But we then headed to Mimi's Cafe for a yummy dinner. I am sure they were not too thrilled seeing a bunch of Twilight crazy ladies!!
Shannon, Amber, Tammy, Katie, and Charle
Stacey, Shelby, Wendy, Ashley, and Nancy
Wendy, Kristina, Lindsey, Jerilynn
Liz, Mariann, Liza, and Tammy
Ashalon, Betsy, Mackenzie
Heather, Nikki, Stacy, and Shauna
Melissa and her 2 friends
Katie, Charle, and I
We also had Tori, Tori's sister, her friend- Ginger, Megan and her 2 friends. I missed getting their pictures!!
Then it was time to head to Jordan Commons. It was great because they just let us go into our seats since it was assigned seating!! We were able to hang out and relax until the movie began.
I ended up loving the movie. Maybe it was late but I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to go again to see if I still like it. All I know is that I didn't want it to end and I can't wait until New Moon!! So I guess we have another midnight movie in store for us again!! Thanks ladies for a great night!! I love my neighborhood!! You are all such great friends and family too!!

Making Blankets Part 2
Julie, Brandon and Grandma Annette came over on Sunday with a surprise!! The blankets are finished!! Grandma was able to sew them all and they look great!! They are so soft and cuddly and they are perfect for each girl.
Audrey's blanket- Princess with purple
Avery's blanket- Ariel with pink
Sydney's blanket- Hannah Montana with blue
Kennady's blanket- Tinkerbell with green
They all came over on Sunday evening and brought the blankets and a movie to watch with the girls. We all snuggled up on the couch and watch some old holiday favorites. We loved snuggling with the new blankets.
When the movie was over it was time to wrap the blankets up and save them for Christmas Eve. The girls each help wrap their blanket!!
It was hard for the girls to let them go but they are even more excited for Christmas Eve now!! Thanks Julie, Brandon, and Grandma for taking the time to create a wonderful memory for the girls. They will always love their blankets.
