On Kennady's birthday, her class went on a field trip to the This Is The Place Monument. It was really fun because I was able to spend the day with Kennady. It was also fun to walk around and do some of the fun activities and watch Kennady with her classmates.
I went with Avery and Audrey and my good friend Stacey and her little guy!! It was nice to go with my friend!! She has a 2nd grader too!!
Audrey did a really great job!! She slept a lot!!

We all brought sack lunches and ate together.
We walked around and learned about pioneer life and participated in many activities. I was busy holding Audrey so I missed taking a lot of pictures!!
At the petting zoo, one goat kept coming up to our stroller. It was really freaking Avery out. It made me laugh because he would get right up to her and she would just scream!!
It was a fun day and I always love spending time with Kennady!! I love her school and I am so proud of all the things she is learning!!

You gotta' love the school field trips. It is so great to watch the kids interact. We have never been up to "This is the Place." I really need to show my kids some historical sights here in Utah :)

Utah! People working together...Utah! What a great place to be...THIS IS THE PLAAAACE! I will always remember the Utah centennial program in 3rd grade...can you believe my little niece is practically that age? Oh boy...I'd be screaming if a goat came near me also. Field trips are awesome I'm glad you got to go with her!
