Our Halloween Tradition

For the last 3 years we have gone to the Cornbelly's Corn Maze at Thanksgiving Point. We have always gone with our good friends, The Hintons but due to scheduling conflicts we were not able to go with them this year. We want them to know that we did miss them and hope that next year we can make it happen!!

But this year we were able to go with our other good friends, the Boydens. They just moved back to Utah so we were excited to have them go with us this year and to show them the Cornbelly experience!!

Cornbelly's is a crazy place where the kids can go crazy and do many activities. We had a fun time goofy around, eating yummy soup, getting scared by The Creature, and getting lost in the corn maze. We spent many hours hanging around but it was fun and when you wear out the kids it is always a success!!

So we began with the peddle-carts. The kids just kept going around and around. I am not sure where they get their energy!!

Up next was the giant balloon trampoline. It is always a favorite!! They get to jump around and act silly. They even have a small one just for little ones but I couldn't get Avery on it. Instead she just hung out in the animal chairs. They bobble around. She thought that was fun enough. The rest of the kids went crazy having fun. They made me laugh!!

Avery in her chairs!!!

We then headed over to the mining station. At first we did not want to pay the extra money but we were not finding any gold!! So we payed the extra and let the kids mine for gems and crystals. It was actually worth the money.

They learned about mining and were able to bring home a big bag of gems and crystals that they found in their mud!! It was fun watching them.

Of course Avery didn't like having the wet dirty hands for long.

We then went over to the Creature!! I do not have any pictures of this because I was holding all my children. They were all scared but Avery would not let me put her down. The big kids went into the creature but came out crying!! Joe and I went in together later and even I was a little scared!!

We also did rode on the cow train. Finally Avery decided to get into the fun!! She loved riding in the cow.

Zac was taking good care of Sydney making sure she got on the ride okay. I think this picture is so cute!!! What good friends they are. Sydney just has a way with the boys!!

This year they had a princess section. It was so much fun for the girls, especially Avery. She loves being a princess. They all dressed up in costumes,

climbed up into the castle,

sat in Cinderella's coach,

jumped in the trampoline,

and Avery kissed her prince!!

We also had a lot of fun on the slides and spent time getting lost in the corn maze. We did make an early exit!!

We did take some time to take cute pictures with the kids...... They each wanted to be together!

We ended the night with a yummy bowl of soup and some yummy pumpkin treats.

Of course Madi and Syd got some cotton candy!

We had a great time hanging out with our friends. It was another memorable time at Cornbelly's. It has been such a great fall and we have made some great family memories!!

I can't believe all the activities you guys covered! We have never been there - maybe we can join you next year :) Joe looked just like Prince Charming in the Cinderella carriage - what a good Dad to all those darling girls! Happy Halloween!

I wanna go to Cornbellys...I hope its still around when I have kids and all of our kids, except Kennady will be like REALLY old then, can go together!!

Audrey is growing up so fast and I feel like I don't get to see it so I'm so thankful for this blog so I get to watch her. Luckily, with Avery she didn't ever grow much so from each visit she only like gained a pound!!
