Easter Sunday and Sydney's Birthday!!

Sydney's Birthday----- April 12th
Easter was on April 12th this year!! April 12th is a special day for our family. 6 years ago Sydney Elizabeth was born!! She weighed 7 lbs. and 9 oz. She was 18 inches long. She was such a beautiful baby. She was covered in hair!! It was so cute. She had the most amazing dark skin. We really thought looked like an Eskimo when she first came out!!

I had her by a C-section so she came out so beautiful. It all went well other than the fact that we arrived at the hospital around 6:45 am but because there were so many emergency C-sections that day I did not have her until around noon. It was a long morning just sitting around and waiting.

Kennady was so excited to have a new little sister. It is fun to look back because I did not even realize the kind of relationship and friendship that these two girls would have.

And here we are leaving the hospital (a family of 4). How time flies.

We are truly blessed to have Sydney in our family. She is an amazing, talented, funny, sweet, fun, adventurous, smart, caring, and a lovable girl. She has brought our family a lot of good times!! She was the best baby I have ever had. She loved to just hang out and entertain herself. She is also a great sleeper. She still is. I love Sydney beans so much. I am so glad she is a part of our family!!

Easter Morning!!
The girls slept in the basement with Kelsi so we started Easter morning in the basement!!

Joe decided to first reading the girls the Easter story. We talked again about what Easter really means to us and the girls talked about the "gifts" that we have received from Jesus. They all have such special spirits and they always amaze me with their testimonies. It was a great way to start the day. We then saw our Easter baskets.

We did most of the "FUN" Easter things on Sat. so we were able to just spend more time together that morning. Kelsi had to leave us in the morning to head to the play WICKED!! Yes we were all jealous!! Thanks Kels for coming. It was so much fun to have you here!!

We all got ready and headed for church!! Church was of course great. I loved the lessons I heard. My favorite was in relief society about Temples. It was great. After church we tried to get some family pictures while we were dressed up!!

After church we celebrated Sydney's birthday. We opened presents and sang to her!! She is such a cute girl and she loved her gifts. Uncle Tracy also showed up after church to celebrate with us.

After we opened gifts it was time for us to head to Joe's mom for our Easter Sunday dinner. It was so yummy!! We had cake for Sydney while we were there and she opened more presents there. I forgot my camera in the car so I don't have any pictures of that night but it was really nice. We had a great dinner, we were able to hand outside and play around because it was such nice weather, and we stayed late just talking and singing. I loved hanging out with everyone!! It was a great day!! It was one of my favorite Easter weekends!! I loved the fun times, thinking about our Savior, remembering and appreciating Sydney and all of my other girls, and hanging out with my family!!
