A week with cousin Jessica

My cute little niece Jessica came and stayed with us for a week while her parents were away on the Trek. We had such a great time. I was horrible and forgot my camera to most of the things we did but I will give a run down.
On Monday it was Jessica's 9th birthday. I am sure it was hard being away from her family but she didn't complain. We had a birthday party for her on Monday night with all of the family that lives up here. She got lots of presents and had cake too!! It was really fun and I am so thankful that everyone was able to come.
On Tuesday we were able to go to our friend Zack Boyden's 6th birthday party. It was a pool party so the girls got to swim and swim. They had such a blast. I wish I would have remember my camera because they were jumping off the diving board and having so much fun. It was a great night.
On Wed. we went to Thanksgiving Point to the Children's garden. I remembered my camera!!! It was a lot of fun playing in the water and exploring the gardens.






Reddek and Avery were a little scared at first but they soon started having fun too!!



They loved all the flowers. I love seeing this picture of the 3 little ones together. It makes me so happy that we all live so close together!! I am glad that I can have the little boy experience with Reddek and Collyn!! I hope their parents don't mind.




Collyn is a little daredevil. He was having a blast with no fear at all!!


The girls made up a little skit and performed it on the stage for us.




Grandma sat in the shade with Audrey. Audrey slept the entire time we were there!!



It was a fun day and I am so glad I have Katie that will also go on these adventures with me. We always wish that Shannon was here with us instead of working!!


The rest of the time Jessica was here we did some regular things like play in the back yard, go swimming at our neighborhood pool, go eat at Arctic Circle, etc.
It has been a really fun summer and we were really glad that we could spend a week with Jessica. She was a great girl and it was fun getting to know her better. I would like to make it a yearly event. Thanks Jessica for being such a great helper and a fun cousin too!!!
