Audrey's Baby Blessing

Audrey's baby blessing was on Sunday Aug. 3rd, 2008!! We had such a nice day. Audrey looked great. The blessing was very sweet. We had our family and friends there to give their support. And I truly enjoyed the day!!!

Joe's blessing was amazing! I felt that the blessing came from Heavenly Father for our little Audrey. Joe blessed her with the ability to see the needs of others and to be able to help them. She already seems to be very aware of all of us. She is such a happy baby. She was blessed with the ability to give of herself through service, and to bring joy to those who are sad or in need of a friend. Joe also blessed her that in time she will find a companion who is a good friend to her. I was so grateful for that. I feel that having a best friend as a spouse makes life wonderful!! I felt the spirit while the blessing was given and it helped me to see Audrey and the kind of spirit she has. I caught a little glimpse into her eyes and saw all that she is capable of and I saw what an amazing spirit she has!! I love baby blessings!!


Following the Sacrament Meeting we went back to our house for a light brunch. We had muffins, bagels, ham, fruit, and drinks. It was really nice and we were so happy to have so many of our friends and family there!!

Joe with our good friend Matt Hinton. Jenny with her littlest one, Mary. We met the Hinton family while we were living in Payson. They are great friends. Matt, Jenny, Emma, Katy, Hannah, Mary!! Yes they are another family of 4 girls. We have such a great time with them and we are so glad that they could come!




Our friends the Boydens. We met the Boydens while attending USU. We have been friends with them ever since. They have recently moved back to Utah and we are so happy!! We have missed them. It was so nice to have them come too!! They have 2 kids- Madison and Zack!

It was so fun to have everyone here!! We had a lot of fun with everyone!




By the end of the day we were all worn out. We all needed to rest, Avery needed a haircut, and Audrey needed a nap!!




I was so thankful for everyones help in putting it all together. It ended up being such a nice day for our family.
